Ghostly Image Discovered In
The
Abberdine County Conjuror!
A ghostly image has been discovered that
was caught on camera during the filming of The Abberdine County
Conjuror.
The image went unnoticed until long
after the release of the film when me and some friends were watching
it.
Since then, it has put a
chill down the back of everyone who watches
it, apparently making it the best clip in the film :o)
It appears as a man
wearing a black hooded cape, with no face, leaning slightly forward as
if to see who was coming down the road. This was shot in Central Texas
in mid summer in 100 degree plus weather, and I can’t imagine that
anyone on this remote road would be standing there wearing a hooded
cape. Especially someone without a face! If you watch closely, just
before the mysterious figure goes out of frame, he appears to reach his
right arm out towards the road.
As
can be seen by
watching the
footage, there is nothing in the vicinity, except for brush and some
trees behind him, so there is no solid object that would cast a human
shaped figure like this, and there is nothing to cast a solid shadow
like this on to.
The entity was standing in
a small clearing in direct sun light, so had it just been an old tree
stump, the light should have lit him up just like the trees behind him.
Also, had it just been a shadow cast onto the brush and trees behind
him by another object, then it should have disappeared as I drove by,
but it remained in place.
The
first ever full sound version of Nosferatu has been released!
Nosferatu
(1922)
At long last there is now a full sound
version of Nosferatu (1922). We have re-edited the entire film to
create a full sound version complete with voices for all of the
characters, sound effects, and a musical sound track by Richard Band.
The goal was to take a silent film and make it palatable for the 21st
century viewer while still trying to respect the vision of the original
filmmaker,
Most people today can’t sit through a feature length silent film so
we’ve provided a new version of the film using the original footage.
We've made quite a few enhancements and restorations to provide the
audience with the best possible viewing experience.
