B Film Productions is an independent motion picture company specialized in producing low budget HORROR films. These films are intended to evoke a strong emotional response from the viewer. To achieve this, our films contain material that is extreme and unpredictable.

Fortunately for us, the Hollywood Studios have lost the ability to produce profitable horror films that elicit this emotional response. Hollywood will only produce films that have “proven themes” because they do not want to take the “risk” of offering the viewer something different and unique.

Since they refuse to take any chances on offering the audience something new, the only types of horror films that Hollywood can churn out are remakes of the generic themes that we see in movies like Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, or the predictable tales of Zombies that exist either because of a new strain of virus or, of course, because there’s no room left in Hell (yawn).

Since everyone has seen these themes played over and over and over again, it’s gotten to a point where the Executive Hollywood Dinosaurs can only produce sleepers that loose millions of dollars (but may cure some forms of insomnia). 

But don’t despair HORROR fans!

The good news is that independent film producers and distributors are filling this huge void in the market that has been left wide open by Hollywood!

If you want to see for yourself what I’m talking about, check your local newspaper for the listings of movies being shown in theaters. The vast majority of the films being shown in these theaters are big Hollywood Studio productions.

Alright, now, look to see how many horror films are showing in those theaters. Not very many! Maybe one or two horror films in the theaters at any given point in time.

Now, go to your local video store and see how many newly released HORROR films are on the shelves. Woah! Quite a difference, isn’t it? At least a dozen, maybe more, new HORROR films on the shelves at any given time!

Why the difference? It’s because small, independent producers are producing the horror films that Hollywood can’t, or wont, produce, and your retail video outlets know that there is a very high demand for these films!

Our goal at B Film Productions is to help fill this giant void in the world of motion pictures!

Today’s HORROR audience is no longer satisfied with generic serial slashers and nightmares. This more sophisticated audience wants to see, and to experience, the darkest sides of human consciousness and eroticism presented in a manner that is thought provoking and unpredictable. That is exactly what we strive to provide to our audience. 

Our films contain scenes of violence, gore, sexual situations and nudity, however, these films are absolutely not pornographic, and no sexual acts are performed by anyone in these films. The content of these films would be generally consistent with a Rating of “R” by the Motion Picture Association of America.
